The London Classic Car Show 2019
Last weekend we collaborated with our retail partner Sutton Bespoke at the London Classic Car Show to promote the launch of our New Generation Mercedes Sprinter VIP Class.
The show took place over four days starting with a preview night on Thursday 14th February. The evening allowed invited guests to have a sneak preview of the show before it officially opened on the Friday morning. Guests who were interested in purchasing experienced a quieter environment which gave them more time to ask questions regarding the vehicles. The Grand Avenue parades began on Thursday along with the opening of Ian Callum’s celebratory showcase of his work and receival of the Icon Award. The Sutton stand was perfectly positioned directly opposite the runway and our Sutton VIP Class Sprinter towered above giving us all a fantastic view.
The next three days were extremely busy and our Sprinter received lots of attention! As the public walked passed our stand and caught a glimpse inside the VIP Class Sprinter, they were lost for words… One lady even described the vehicle as ‘jaw dropping’ and another referred to it as ‘a private jet on wheels’.
The new generation Sprinter included many exciting features such as two 40-inch 4K televisions, on board Wi-Fi, a specially designed Cambridge and Kef home cinema surround sound system, an Xbox One S, forward facing CCTV system and a double-glazed panoramic roof to mention just a few! The VIP Class Sprinter’s interior involved a brand-new design of leather and Alcantara throughout. The memory foam reclining seats are all hand machine stitched with our new hexagonal design pattern. Each individual shape takes on average nine minutes to create!
Sutton’s 1967 restored Eleanor Mustang also proved mesmerising for the public at the entrance to the stand along with an 800bhp CS800 Mustang and a 700bhp GT700CS Mustang. The three Mustangs drew people onto our stand who then spent time looking at our VIP Class Sprinter, V-Class and huge ‘Monster Raptor’ Ford truck.
Everyone enjoyed the show and we received lots of positive feedback from the public. We look forward to working closer with our retailer Sutton Bespoke and hope to expand together in the future. We would also like to thank all of our customers who attended the show and our great team from Monaco By Stanford and Sutton Bespoke that helped out across the four days.
